Palestinian non-violence movement

Al-Muhajabah, a tireless Muslim-American woman blogger, posts a comprehensive look at the Palestinian non-violence movement. She has been posting on this topic for quite some time now, and includes many links to other voices on this topic. Please visit the link to read all about people calling for non-violent resistance.

Al-Muhajabah summarizes:

"There are two basic themes in these calls. One argues that non-violence is the most moral or ethical course of action from a religious perspective. I first addressed that in Islamic non-violence. The other theme is that non-violence is the most practical course; i.e., that violent struggle has failed to gain anything for the Palestinians and in fact is only making their situation worse."
