Very depressing: The War on Lebanon and the Battle for Oil.
I'm not sure I really follow but it doesn't look good for the land of Lebanon.
Tip of the hat to The Arabist.
Update July 28, 9 a.m.: The Armed Forces Journal prints maps of before and after the "New Middle East", possibly the birth to which our Secretary of State so cheerily referred. Thanks to Ms. Levantine, although I did see it somewhere else earlier, just can't remember where.
I just read that "the war on lebanon and the battle for oil." blog.
and I must say, there is some very warped thinking going on with the author.
so, israel is transporting oil and water to support it's people, big deal. what country would not do the same?
why don't you leave them alone?

Either it's a warped idea or it's no big deal, "truth" - you can't have it both ways.
And it's the Lebanese who would like to be left alone, please.

shooting missiles and taking hostages tells me that the lebanese want to fight.
I read on the internet that muslims during ww2 sided with the nazis. is this true?
lastly, do you believe that israel should be exterminated?
