Wash your hands. With soap!

BBC NEWS | South Asia | Millions mark UN hand-washing day.

I'm always after my little boys about this. And use plain soap, not anti-bacterial. Just scrub and rinse well. Sing "Happy Birthday" twice while scrubbing. Prevents all manner of basic yukkies.

My husband made a similar observation after reading the book, "Where There is No Doctor." Simple, basic hygiene goes incredibly far to prevent disease!
