Jonathan Edelman at the Head Heeb describes an interesting Beirut artist and her newest project, a children's book to benefit the Lebanese Children's Cancer Center. The artist is the daughter of the late African dictator Bokassa; she went to Beirut to study design, seems to have found a Lebanese to marry, and is now doing good works.
Amazing story, Jonathan.
Thanks; I fixed the Daily Star link on my site.
