Just spent four days attending the Radius of Arab Writers conference in New York City, where I spoke on the "Literary Bloggers" panel organized by MoorishGirl, Laila Lalami. The other panelist was the fabulous Randa Jarrar, a young writer and translator in Texas.
Laila asked:
"Why do I get emails from authors far and wide asking to be featured on Moorishgirl, and not from Arab American writers?"
Are you listening, Arab American writers? Kallimuna! Talk to us.
