I do, of course, think of northern Ireland when I read your words. I wonder if some of your responders here have studied that history.

And of course, that isn't over yet either. Seems to be taking fewer lives lately, though.

Yes, even though I don't know that much about the Irish troubles, they do remind me of our own Arab-Israeli wars. But when you're looking at Lebanon, you're looking at 17 different factions, not just one or two. It's mind-boggling.
