I went to the Farmer's Market today & we're definitely in high fruit season. The yellow watermelons just came in. Peaches just came in. Of course, blueberries, raspberries & even strawberries are still available. Rainier cherries (this is Seattle after all) are also still in season. What an embarrassment of riches!

Your pears are picture-perfect but I bet they aren't as sweet as our apricots!

This is the third crop we have had in ~20 years because in our Colorado climate the trees set blossoms or young fruit that usually freezes in a spring snowstorm.

Nearly 50 jars of jam and apricot butter later, many trips to the neighbors with ripe fruit, and hundreds on the ground thanks to the birds and squirrels, there is still much fruit on the trees. I wish I could share with you!
